We advise you to pay with the same credit card used for prepayment and deposit at the time of vehicle pick-up.

If you have the SCDW coverage package, you are not required to make payments for damages to the vehicle body. However, for the coverage to be valid, you need to provide us with all the reports accurately and in full.

If the damage to the vehicle is not covered by the selected insurance coverage, excess amount will be charged based on pre-determined rates and vehicle categories. Additionally, a service fee for vehicle damages is also charged according to our current price list, collected during the vehicle drop-off. The customer is required to present all documents provided by the police or any other person (police report, alcohol test report, etc.) and fill out a declaration at the drop-off office.

CARWIZ reserves the right to collect all expenses incurred in case the customer fails to comply with the rules and regulations of the Republic of Turkey and the insurance or fails to follow the accident reporting procedure.

If you have insurance or a insurance waiver from a different company or insurance agency, it is crucial to complete the entire procedure (alcohol test, police report, etc.) and request copies of all documents when you disembark the vehicle. It is important to note that if you do not have a directly acquired coverage package from Carwiz, the expenses related to the damage will be collected from you. You can contact the company you are insured with, providing them with the collected reports and the damage invoice. For additional documents, please reach out to our Customer Support.

After the rental period ends, any additional payments are charged to your credit card. 

Some possible reasons for additional payments include:

  • Parking fines
  • Traffic fines
  • Toll fees (HGS)
  • Damages identified after car cleaning

After you return the vehicle, instructions for the deposit refund are sent to the bank 15 days later. The reflection in your account may take up to 7 business days, depending on your bank's status.
